TheHexaTown Cookie Policy

Last updated:

TheHexaTown's website, thehexatown.com, uses a small set of cookies: one that stores your cookie choices, Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies loaded through Google Tag Manager, HubSpot cookies that link form submissions to visits, and cookies from embedded Calendly and reCAPTCHA widgets. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland opt in; everyone else can opt out.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember your choices, measure how it is used and connect a visit to an ad click. Similar technologies, such as browser session storage, work the same way, and this policy covers them too.

What cookies does thehexatown.com use?

We group cookies the way our cookie banner does. Necessary cookies are always on. Analytics and advertising cookies follow your choice, as explained in how consent works.

tht_consent_regionProvider: TheHexaTown (first party)Purpose: Remembers for this visit whether the opt-in or opt-out consent model applies in your region, so the cookie banner can show the right choices. It is set from your approximate location when you first open a page and stores the model only, never your country.Duration: Until you close the browser

Embedded services

These third-party widgets load only on the pages that need them and set cookies on the provider's own domain under the provider's policy.

Google Analytics and Google Ads load through Google Tag Manager. HubSpot's cookie list is in HubSpot's cookie guide, and Google's is on Google's advertising cookies page. We do not use cookies to collect your name, email address or other contact details; those reach us only if you send them in a form.

Does TheHexaTown honor Global Privacy Control?

Yes. When your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we turn advertising cookies and ad data sharing off for your visit, even if advertising would otherwise be on by default. We treat the signal as your request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data and of targeted advertising under US state privacy laws. Analytics follows your regional default and your own choice.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when we add, remove or change a cookie or a provider, and we change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change needs a new choice from you, the cookie banner asks again.
